A
George Harrison
Yoga Celebration in
honor of his birthday February 25
Teacher Biographies

Francine Kelly was introduced to yoga as a
pre-teen growing up on a farm in Jamaica (a most unusual occurrence in the
early 1980s) and has been in love with yoga ever since. Her yoga practice
was transformed by attending the teacher training at the Temple of Kriya
Yoga in 2004, and she has studied with many wonderful teachers since then.
In addition to her passion for yoga, Francine is also serves her clients and
students through the avenues of body-centered psychotherapy, Reconnective
Healing® and the Akashic Records. Her passion for the life-transforming
effects of these wonderful healing systems is reflected in her classes and
sessions which encourage mindful, playful and compassionate
self-inquiry. Francine feels blessed to serve her students and clients,
helping them to uncover the joy, peace and freedom that is our true
nature. More information on Francine available at
www.francinekelley.com

Laura Lash has also been a practitioner of yoga
for over nine years, and in March 2005, completed 200 hours of Teacher
Training through Kripalu. Since that spiritual twist of events, Laura has
been teaching Gentle, Fundamentals, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in the Chicago
area. In February 2009, she completed training with Phoenix Rising Yoga
Therapy, and came away prepared to offer individual sessions with curious
clients. In her time away from the yoga mat, Laura can be found riding her
bicycle on the streets of Chicago; walking and training her rescued dog,
Chai, an Australian Cattle Dog; and vacationing in Maine.

Chicago Kirtan scene for several years. He has taught Yoga/movement for 10
plus years. He has been a band member with Devi 2000, Amy and the Ananda

this summer! He has also assisted yoga workshops with Tias Little. His main
influences have been Kim Schwartz and Gabriel Halpern and Rich continues to
study with Gabriel, simply the best teacher/mentor he has encountered in his
studies.

Martha Wright is a
certified yoga teacher, registered with the Yoga Alliance. She has been a
student of yoga for 15 years, studying with Chicago teachers Steven Hartman,
Per Erez, Rich Logan, and Cheryl Henley. Martha completed her yoga teacher
training in August of 2005 at the Kripalu Center in Massachusetts. She has a
background in teaching and is also a librarian. Prior to becoming a yoga
teacher, she worked in a variety of organizations in Chicago’s non-profit
