Crossroads Fund, in partnership with Chicago Foundation for Women and the Woods Fund of Chicago, recently completed the first pilot of a women of color leadership collaborative. The year long leadership project brought together 13 women of color working across issues in various Chicago neighborhoods to share, learn and build community. The undertaking of this innovative collaboration is noteworthy, given that this is the first effort in Chicago to bring together women of color leaders to discuss their place in movement politics and to work towards the development of transformative models of leadership.Culivate: Women of Color Leadership project is current accepting applicants for its second cohort.
