WE-ACTx Ineza Sewing Cooperative – WE-ACTx serves HIV positive genocide widows, rape survivor and orphans in Rwanda and is a model of care and international/local collaboration. WE-ACTx has organized its own in-house sewing and crafts cooperative, INEZA, to make dolls, clothing accessories (hand bags, computer sleeves, etc.) and other crafts for sale in the international market as an effort to develop a sustainable source of income for women on HIV treatment. Twine – Wool socks, earrings, lip balm, greeting cards, postcards, textiles, drawings, and small photos. Jan Ruzich – Beaded jewelry and photography. Artisans of Ghana – Fairly-traded items handcrafted in Ghana and neighboring West African countries, including batik paintings on fabric, acrylic paintings, jewelry, handpainted greeting cards, and a number of handbags made from fabric scraps purchased from local seamstresses. Feral Pony – Prints, framed art, tiny terrariums, and greeting cards. ReVision Mosaic Letter & Furniture – Mosaic furniture and decorations made by Orr Academy High School students with support from the Youth and Empowerment Department of the American Friends Service Committee.
